Goat Farm

Here are pictures from the last day in Colorado plus the Jump'in Good Goat Farm.  The girls loved the goats.  Obviously, who doesn't love baby goats?

Olympics and Colorado

Hey Blogtrotters,
Here's pics from Colorado.  The girls loved it.  Highlights, for them and others, included playing in the river and looking for treasures, picking raspberries each day with Sheila, walking Lilly, being outside without threat of heat exhaustion, going to a fish hatchery and going to a goat farm (dairy).  The video at the end is our tribute to the Olympics, our dream is for them to be synchronized divers so they were able to practice on the couch. I'll do another post later this week solemente on goat farming, you'll like it...guarantee.

Zoo School for Grandpa

Hello Friends, I'm here in SA with the girls while Abby does her part for the environment one well researched article at a time.  We've had a great trip and perhaps the girls won't come back too spoiled since I'm here keeping a curmudgeonly eye on things.  The ladies have had a blast at the Witte Museum as well as the pool; these pictures all come from the zoo.  Ellie is in orange panda and Tilly with pink owls, if you can't tell be the hair.  Oh, and we had camera issues so if they seem a little off, it's you and you should visit the optometrist soon, and don't drive at night.

$2.00 well spent
My favorite part, the picture with the lions
We played "peek-a-boo" allowing Nana to a split second to get a great pic

Nana took 7 pictures of this plant so I thought I should include it.

Doesn't Daddy look pleased to be sitting on a bird poop stained deck holding dirty fish food for the girls?

Dance Dance Revolution!

Dearest Blogtrotters,

Here are the photos from their dance recital in late May, I just realized that I had neglected to allow you the joy of them.  The recital itself went off without a hitch.  They didn't cry and even danced a little.  I'll put the link to David Morris' YouTube video post.  Let me impart my favorite aspect of the recital.  Perhaps it was the 4-5 year olds who danced to "All the Single Ladies"  nothing more approriate than twelve 5 year old girls dancing to "If you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it"  while wearing flapper dresses.  Although it was the lady chipmunks singing so that makes it ok (and annoying, since, admittedly  Mr. West was correct in his assessment of that song).  Our lady girls danced to an elongated version of the theme song to Scooby Doo.  Yeah, you heard me.
Since this is prehaircut, I suppose I'll have to be of some help in recognizing.  (First 5 are Tilly and then Ellie is on the right in the two that have both.  Elinor is the last three.)  Here is a link to last year's recital.  It has a picture that is almost exactly like the first one, but last year's is Ellie.  identical? http://www.tiggmorristwins.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Look, the new design allows me to write captions.  this will make telling who's who a snap!

James and Abby: The Awesome Show!

Please to enjoy our awesomeness!  This is Abby standing in front of her newly fixed window!  She took it apart, replaced the motor and put every single part back where it started in less than 2 hours and she did it... all by herself! (I helped a little and obviously Ellie was helping, too).  And then the video is some cool science.  Apparently it is the oils in our skin that pop bubbles, so put a glove on and bounce to that!  peace friends.

David Bowie from Labyrinth anyone?
